Irene Yeung is a Hong Kong based designer who studied marketing & graphic design in tertiary education. After graduation, she was self-taught in product design while having over 20 years working experience in sheet metalworking industry. She is one of the new emerging designers who can counteract between art, design and manufacturing.

Fragment Flask by Oi Lin Irene Yeung Composed of three irregular geometrical flasks, the fragmented family has its unique design character. Each flask is designed as a fragment, when the three flasks are put together, they are formed an art block and sculpture. The designer has put emphasis on artisanal craftsmanship with delicated mirror finish on the exterior, and using stainless steel grade 18/10. The ingenuity of the design makes it collectible for showcase and also a collection of travel necessities.

The Things Stainless Steel Bowls by Oi Lin Irene Yeung The Things is a set of polygonal bowl inspired from a philosophy with a sense of Zen. The bowl set of 5 which are seen as 5 different bowls, but all are the same indeed, just the open top is on different planes so that people would think those are totally different in shape. It delivers an idea of equality and respect in one world. The set also represent the Five Elements as Metal, Wood, Water, Fire & Earth. Each is designed as a polygon with unconventional shape as tableware, home decors and art sculpture. Every piece of the set is polished with a crisp & mirror finish.

Coexistence Stainless Steel Tray by Oi Lin Irene Yeung Coexistence trays are inspired by the theory of Fictitious and Realistic Coexistence in Asian philosophy. This set includes two stainless steel trays, each is designed as a landscape shape and also like an art sculpture. Like mountains and lakes, they are perfectly coordinated, and both highly polished trays are made of stainless steel 18/10. Each piece is polished with a crisp, mirror finish on the exterior. Each tray can be individually used for table serving, and two trays can be set upside-down to each other in different variations, and become one large tray.

Crystallar Condiment Set by Oi Lin Irene Yeung The condiment set includes two stainless steel shakers and one cement holder. The shakers are in crystal-pillar shape, used for all natural mineral or herb seasonings. Each shaker is polished with a crisp, mirror finish on the exterior. Design inspiration is from crystal cluster, three shakers are observed individually as crystal pillar with hexagonal prism, arrange them together on the holder creating a miniature like the crystal cluster. The design expresses the concept of the formation of all lives in nature, natural resources are nurturing the living things and also enrich human lives.

Utospace Stainless Steel Candleholder Set by Oi Lin Irene Yeung Utospace is a functional set of stainless steel planters and candleholders made of SUS316 (SS 18/10). It can be used as a planter or holder for candle pillars or sticks. There are 3 candlestick holders which can be removed and used individually. The base can also act as a tray for separate use. The design idea of Utospace comes from the ideal country of Utopia and the Asian philosophy, the Analects of Confucius Zilu, both of which also represent a kind of spiritualism, harmonious integration, and great unity.
